Also does this form of video only play on yankee videos, any way to convert them to PAL so they play in mine ? as you have prob guessed from this and last post I am looking to bid on ebay.:confused:

Most VCRs that are I'd say less than three years old should be able to play NTSC videos. Mine does anyway. Can't remember how old it is.
Just read your manual to see if it's NTSC compatable.
