Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've just ported from Vodafone RTG to O2 Speakeasy, and the only thing annoying me now (apart from the ridiculous roaming prices in Derry) is the voicemail. Is there any way to turn it off or change the delay?

To my knowledge there is no way you can change it from your phone. You may need to contact o2 directly and ask them to do it from there.

    Removing Voicemail
Dial 1909 from your mobile and then follow the prompts

    From: http://web.o2.ie/portal/products_services/o2_services/voicemail/

i tried the other night with no luck...

    Extending Ring Tone Duration

To extend your ring tone, dial the following code:
    ** 61* 086/085/084 5 your 7 digit number ** 30# and send. E.g. **61*086 5 1234567**30#

You can extend your ring tone for 5, 10, 20 and 30 seconds. The last number in the code above dictates ring time. In the example above, 30 was used as an example.

1909 is for Pay Monthly customers - I tried phoning it before I checked and it said I was gonna be charged €1.90 per minute!

I then dialled 1747 from my phone (14c per call), and was told by a recorded message that they were extremely busy and to try again later.

So then I phoned the Speakeasy helpline from my home phone - 1850 601747, and got through after a minute or two waiting (compared to 20 minutes with Esat BT the night before). The rather helpful Customer Care agent informed me that for Speakeasy customers, the ringing length could only be put up to 20 seconds, so I asked her to just switch it off, which she did. Anyone who can't get through can stick the '5' in, most of the people that would ring me would be mobile savvy anyhow.
