Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Gordon Strachan is to leave his managerial post at southampton this summer. The club have issued a statement saying they were in negotiations for a new contract but Gordon has decided to take a break form the strains of premiership management for personal reasons when his current contract expires in the summer.

    Agreed. Great manager and has done a good job there. Hopefully he'll be back soon.

    Any word on replacements yet or maybe they will wait a while.

    All those pained expresions have finally caught up with him! Southampton have been pretty wretched in the last few months perhaps we now know why...sounds like he should hand the reigns over soonest.

    He needs a hip replacement apparently, he says stress had no bearing on his decision. Personally it doesn,t really add up and there are rumours that he is going to leeds and mark hughes is to take his place, and others like in the other thread about transfers. Only time will reveal the full story.
