Can anyone point me in the direction of websites where I might be able to get information on the 'emerging mobile applications market' - my term, as I am not sure what it might actually be!

I am talking about software that enables the compression, trnasmisison and execution of images, audio, gambling, games, etc - whether for 2.5G or for 3G.

If possible I would like to find some kind of industry report, one that analyses the opportunity, names the leading players, and gives an idea of how the whole thing might evolve. A lot of the stuff I have read so far can be a little on the 'propoganda' side - i.e. development companies making their case.

Any help appreciated.
