has anyone been watching the coverage from lakeside?

saw today that the bbc had a poll to vote for 'the best walk out'.. bit like boxing when they come out from behind the curtain to some tune, they were hilarious.
fat sweaty blokes trying to look cool doesn't work.

being able to drink 30 odd pints in one sitting doesn't make you a great athlete

    They are not crap darts.
There are two different Darts Organisations.
Kinda like Rugby League & Union.

The reason the PDC (Sky Sports) darts have better palyers is coz Sky are pumpin in the cash.

The Embassy World Darts (BBC) is better to watch coz you have no idea who will win.
It gives the lesser known players a chance to shine.

Taylor has won the PDC 11 times including 8 in a row.
Not exactly exciting to watch IMO.
The only reason you'd watch Taylor these days is to see another 9 darter.

Anyway. Andy Fordham won the Embassy title in a 6-3 wn over Mervin King.
