    This for anyone who spots a prog on the box which might be of interest to this forum.

    Tomorrow on National Geographic there a 1 hour showe about a manned MArs mission. Its followed by a new series called Mysterious Universe. Prog 1 is Planets From Hell.

    Rocket Men of Mission 105 is about the ISS and is on
    Tuesday night Jan14th at midnight and Tuesday Jan 20th at 1pm.

    Runaway Universe is on National Geographic at midnight on Thursday night.

    Good idea. It's hard to find the decent, interesting shows when there's so much tabloid, trashy $hit!!

    There *WAS* a cool programme on Discovery Wings last night called 'Extreme Machines' (it was listed as something else I think - can't remember) from 11 to midnight.

    Twas about all the different ideas for a lunar base as a platform for deep space travel for humans and some of the new propulsion systems to make inter-stellar travel possible. It also looked at reusable rocket designs. It may be on again soon so keep an eye out..

    1. Tonight (Tue), BBC2 7:30 pm: Rough Science
    Earth is regularly bombarded by objects from outer space and in Arizona,

    This is a radio programme, not television and it's only of use to those in Dublin.

    Anna Livia FM (103.2 MHz) have a half hour astronomy programme at 20:00 on Tuesdays. I haven't been at a radio at that time in a few weeks and I've only ever caught the last minutes of the programme so can't offer an opinion on whether there's substantial content or even if it's still on. Anyway here's their page.
