    Fíor Scéal: Sixth Sense
Since the late 19th century, parapsychology has earned respect as a fully fledged science in most Western countries. This film portrays Maud Kristen, a Parisian psychic; Joseph McMoneagle, the CIA's seer-spy; and Robert Gamel, a magnetizer-healer from the south of France.

(Yes, I don't know where that "fully-fledged science" bit comes from either.)

This is just the latest in a frequent if irregular series of rubbish on the usual suspects which TG4 have bought in and dubbed into Irish

Fíor scéal is a series of documentaries, most of which are about non-paranormal stuff AFAIR.

This particular one was about psychics though. I watched some of it. They were doing tests to see if ppl really were psychic. It wasn't very convincing, though.

First of all, the test subjects had careers based on their supposed psychic powers so it was probable they'd object to the show being aired in the first place if it showed them to be fakes.

Secondly, they placed far more emphasis on the cases where the subjects did pass the tests plus, the tests and responses were so vague (given you can link anything to anything else quite easily if you think in terms of metaphors) that it wasn't convincing at all.
