"Take Me Out" is the only thing I've heard so far, and it's... meh... I dunno. Alright, I suppose.

Looking forward to the album alright. I've only heard a few songs. Somehow I managed not to go to the Interpol gig. I hear they were a most excellent support. So I'm pretty pissed off that I didn't get to see them. "Take Me Out" is deadly though.

I saw them at the Interpol gig, then...
Bought the "Darts of Pleasure" e.p. and really liked it, soon after I managed to find slightly rare stuff (Cheating on You [home demo] and Tell Her Tonight [home demo]) and I'm currently looking forward to the album.

I didn't like "Take Me Out" at first, but I really, really do now. It's very different to the rest of it. But, it's more ambitious, which is great.

Take Me Out is the single of the year. So what if the year's only two weeks old, that disco guitar stuff makes me cry with joy. Downloading Cheating On You at the moment. They've got something extra these retro bands don't.

I too saw them at Interpol. I thought they were great. I knew I'd see more of them in the future. Both "Darts of Pleasure" and "Take Me Out" are great, even though they are really simple songs.

Their debut album is released February 6th (UK: 9th) for anyone interested. Its simply the new wave of new-wave.

Heard "Take Me Out" there this morning. Fairly catchy alright. Theres definately a Iron Maiden/White Stripes influence in there somewhere. He'll most likely be the next big thing.

Seen them at Interpol as well.. they were amazing, bought the Darts Of Pleasure EP back in November.. tis damn good, Tell Her Tonight is brilliant though... don't really like the new song to the same level, but haven't heard it too much just yet.

Oh and they already are the next big thing.. MTV and FM104? enough said ;)

Well fear not albums excellent folks.. different versions of Darts Of Pleasure and Tell Her Tonight (neither are as good as the EP and single versions).. but some great tracks on it all the same, album opener, Jacqueline, Come On Home and Cheating On You are my faves so far..

Take me out has a good beat and rythem to it so does most of his other songs. But I wouldnt really buy his album,'its not my cup of tea',I'll stick to good wholesome heavy metal for the moment.

Uh.. Franz is a band, not a solo artist :P
I downloaded their album about 2 weeks ago, it's fantastic, not a bad song on there really.
Tried to get tickets for their gig but it looks like the touts have snapped them up, some git selling 20 tickets on ebay for the gig at double face value :(

Yeah, that sucks. The sad fact is that that seller had no intention of flying over from the UK to see this Scottish band.
