How can I contact Eircom about when Broadband comes to my area

    Hi folks,

    I really need to know when Broadband is coming to Kildare town.

    I've tried contacting Eircom and asking them if they can give me an idea. I keep getting transferred to various people in the end someone just hangs up on me.

    Anyone have a number for asking about this kinda thing to Eircom?

    Or better yet, anyone know when Broadband is coming to Kildare town?

    Kildare is not on the to Do list Due before March '04

    call 1800 512 128 and ask them to Put you on the kildare waiting list
    thats the only number you need

    if you want to do a search

    it to late now and Im waiting for the Edge to come back on after it was rudely interupted by the news.

    Hi Guru,

    the exchange is not on the list of upgraded ones you've posted. I understand there is a new list circulating internally in Eircom of exchanges which will be upgraded over the next six months, and when the work is scheduled to be done.

    I was wondering if Newtownmountkennedy was on this list, as it was one of the places announced by Eircom which would be upgraded by 2005.

    Any info would be appreciated

    when they do upgrade ur exchange, go with some1 else,
    i rang them and utv over a month ago looking for connection (in meath)
    within a week i had utv clicksiver connected and online
    and eircom only called us back a couple days ago...typical
    eircom dont give a sh/t about you until they absolutlely have to !
    lets all screw them and go with their competitors..that would hopefully teach them to give the ppl of ireland a better faster and more efficient service!

    EIRCOM = RIP OFF IRELAND AT IT'S BEST
