generals zero hours issue

hi, since i just got broadband i wanted to play generals: zero hour online how it almost everytime i go to play a game i either can't connect to the others or as soon as the game starts it says someone is having problems connecting.

i've turned off my firewall

anyone know what the problem is?

so far i'm managed to get into 1 game in about 20 its head wrecking

there are a lot of problems with peoples connections online with generals.
Dodgy netcode and firewalls to blame.

However if you got into a game and it worked its not your fault and my only suggestion to you is to keep trying. Since the 1.02 patch the amount of connection (ie connecting at startup) has fallen significantly tho you still get the odd mismatch in game. Also the fact that the counter is counting down may be the fact that their pc crashed, they pulled the plug instead of taking a lose or (if at start of game) that they are still loading.

C&C can be very particulat about firewalls tho i can play with mine on nps. (software)

what ur user name on it ill gave ya a game sometime!!

seems fine for me but the C&C servers crashed tonight making it more difficult to play

I had the same problem playing Zero hour online aswell so i havent actualy played it much onlile.
