Thats a fairly nice rig, why are you selling it?

About €1100, but why are you selling? - You would be absolutely mad m8

And before you answer that, why the hell are you extremely underclocking this potentially great rig

Dump that memory stick. Get an excellent matched pair of memory sticks of a superior make (PC4000 or better PC4200). OCZ DL 4200 is the best ram available in the world for the PC today - check the reviews. Available right here in Celbridge, Co Kildare. Free shipping.

Also dump that graphics card and get whatever your budget allows, be it an ancient gf4ti4200 second hand for about €50 up to a brand new 9600 pro for €125 or a 9800 pro for €270 or more :)

If you like high quality music / movies, get an audigy2

Then, saving the best for last, up the FSB from your paltry 664 FSB to 1000 FSB and enjoy the superior FSB and HT :D

PS Sure makes me wonder who put that system together for you

    :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

That PC has the potential to be a monster..............

Like unkel said, Pc4000 Ram (or Pc4200 mabye) dual sticks, thats gonna leave your FSB @ 1000mhz, Ram @ 500mhz FSB, CPU @ 3.2ghz (you can prob get more).............add a decent GFX card and it'l be a the top machine.

    You can get a 9700pro 128mb for €247 , 9800pro for €298, 9600pro for €127........

Are you selling it because its not performing for you?? Or just need the money?? Upgrading (which there is no point to really unless its ram & gfx)??

OK you could build that system (Brand New) with some better components for,

    Total: €1000

So im guessing maybe asking €700, you migh get a buyer.

    Thanks joePC.....

Could you spec that out joePC? Did the sums from the top of my head but came to more myself :)

i woulda thought the 21" flatscreen woulda added to the price of it to above €700 tbh

    what case is it ?

it looks alot like a dell type spec, and if it was a dell, the price on it would be a good bit lower, might be worth selling the monitor seperately.

You could get 400 for for that monitor if you found the right buyer. Hardly on boards of course....

firstly no its not a dell,
    i built it myself,
the case is a black case with a window, 3 blue fans, 1 blue cathode and 1 red cathode,

It looks very nice and its worth alot more than 700 joe....
the monitor alone cost 630 i only got it 2weeks b4 christmas, still got box, manual cd n the likes..

as i said just a estimate, not selling it yet

You paid €630 for a Dell CRT "You must be mad", should of got a 18" TFT.

My spec for €1000 included a 19" Flat CRT.
I think everyone would prefer a TFT over a CRT no mater what the size 18 TFT vrs 21 CRT, I choose the TFT.

    Anyway good luck......

    Thanks joePC.

    Edit///
    Weight : 67.4 lbs

I saw one of these before an older one, it must be the size of a house:)

i would like if you specd out that pc joe,

also no tft will be as good as this one,
you cant watch dvds properly on any tft, this monitor is by far better than a 18" TFT,

as i isad i duno if ill sell it,
i just want ot get a powerbook but i dont know if its worth selling,

Agree. It will be a while yet that even a good TFT will be able to compete with top spec CRT.

Access speed of any CRT is < 1 ms. The very best TFT have 16 ms. And joePC, this is Dell branded, but has a Sony TRINITRON tube. Even here on boards, if you'd try to sell it second hand, you'd get at least €300 - €350

Cartman, my question again: why o why are u using that memory

It like owning a Mercedes S600 and driving it with 8 of the 12 cylinders switched off

Edit: BTW if you're not into gaming, the graphics card will do just nicely. Forget my previous remarks about the graphics card
