Anyone know of a good MP3 player for Dos? Nothing fancy.. just play (low cpu usage as far as possible). I know a guy with a 486DX2 with win95. Plays winamp 2... just...the decoder breaks up a lot. I suggested to him trying a Dos based version which surely would do better. Can't/Won't upgrade hardware. My own guess is that you would really need a P-120 minimum to listen to un-interrupted .mp3s approaching decent bit-rates (ie 64Kbps+).

I did a search and came across Damp and DosAmp. Damp looks promising and seems to play ok-ish (even on a 486 DX4). :)

    Any recommendations? :)
