That's a bit low for a laptop that you want to play new games on.

Most laptops around that price would come with an ATI gfx card with shared memory and has the performance of about a Radeon 7000. The screens with those laptops would not have a higher resolution of 1024x768 which could be annoying if you currently use a higher res.

    Anyway

On the compustore webpage they have a couple of laptops around your budget.

    http://shop.online.ie/shop/compustore/109057.html 15" screen

    and

http://shop.online.ie/shop/compustore/109151.html This has a 14.1" screen but better graphics card.

They don't have P4 processors but I doubt you'll get one with a laptop at that price.

If its for gaming bear in mind that you need a heavyweight gfx card to run at higher than 1024x768 res. Most laptops have at best a medium class gfx card, so your not going to get good frame rates unless you get the best laptop gfx. Which at the moment are the radeon 9600 and the fx5600.
