its not even the proper seedings, its the first draft of them, they have since been changed. Blokey fell 10 odd places for coming 3rd in l4 in france which I find silly.

Maybe the question is just silly and shouldn't even be asked cause I fail to realise that our best wouldn't deserve to be ****ed on by the above list. I just thought that maybe the likes of Koopa, Slaanesh, Beast, Bunny & OsiriS might give one or two in that list a run for their money.

i SUCK hard in q3

alot of the players in the 128seeded list are ****, but about 50 of them i couldnt touch i think.

that list is made up by people who bet money on horses or something, i dont think they have a clue who is good and who would get destroyed 50 - 0 by someone below him on that list..
i dont think they can say yet who is the best in the world at q3, there are too many players who havent played each other, in QW you could say kane/lakerman were probably the best because just about all the top players had played each other.. its not the case with q3 yet in my opinion

Some of the above players are rubbish, look at "45 Acquiesce Demonic Core United Kingdom, London " as an example. He lost 7 or 8 times on various maps over UK CPL weekend, and in the actual 'double elimination' tourney he was not in the first 3 at least. His rating is based on the fact he mush have been good at QW ?

Thats just one player, I'm sure there are others.

But it would be great to see players from over here at the big US tourneys playing for the big moneh, would it not!

With regard to this weekend's CPL, I have said on these boards b4, I have met blokey and he is sound! so I hope he kicks ass!

we HAVE played a lot of players on that list, in quakeworld, at rapture..
people dont get suddenly **** at q3, or whatever, the top players in qw wont be **** at q3, probably the same with the top q2 players as well

just look at the trinlan and shadowlan q3 duels, it was almost like a QW duel competition, both times at the end it was practically me and ser, at shadowlan ser vs me at semi's, in trinlan ser vs me in finals, and the only time i even play q3 is occasional games vs jay and tarzan really late at night, maybe once a week(?) so im almost totally relying on old qw skills.. i think chris is probably the same

so if we could beat most of those people in qw (we could), id say with some practice we could beat them in q3 as well

CPL Europe, a division of the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) based in Dallas, Texas, announces the first professional European computer gaming tournament event: the CPL Scandinavian Open Tournament, to be held in Stockholm, Sweden, from the 20th to the 23rd of July 2000.
