About time I entered something here I suppose.
    B. Eng. (Electronic Engineering) DCU 1999, mounting debts propelled me into embedded software job, which is where I've stayed since. Duties ranged from writing end-user applications, platform development, hardware debugging, board bring-up, boot-loader and OS (properetary and Linux) work on 8-, 16- and 32- bit processors including ARM 7, 9 and 11 cores. That and some sandwich making.

2nd Year Electronic & Electrical Engineering in UCD. Probably going to choose electrical for my final degree stream.

Have worked in the Signalling & Telecoms departments in Irish Rail and for ESB power generation as a student engineer over the past few summers. Very good experiences in both places and very grateful for it.
