Chemical engineers

    I spent the summer doing an internship for a company that hires chemistry and chemical engineers. apart from the inevitable who's better then who arguements that where as constant as the day was long most days i still don't have a clear picture what is is chemical engineers actually do, whats there usualy position what jobs do they end up in etc.

    anyone care to enlighten me?
