    deal's with the main questions asked nearly every single day read them before posting.Their are other Broadband services you can get such as wireless or adsl but it esat eircom and utv radsl questions that are asked the most so they will be covered here.


    Q. Where can I find the Eircom or Iol Broadband download monitor’s?

    A.You can find the Iol monitor at http://broadband.iol.ie/usage/

    And the Eircom monitor at
    http://dslstats.eircom.net


    Q.What are the cap limits of the 3 main radsl providers

    A. Eircom has an 4 gig download limit for the basic pack and a 8 gig download limit for the advanced pack
    Iol has an 8 gig data transfer limit on there basic package and 16 gig on there advanced package
    UTV also has an 8 gig download limit for basic and 16 gig for advanced

    Please remember Download allowance measures everything that comes from the net, every page, every email, every image; it does not refer only to download requests.

    all providers have the right to either charge you at Iol 3cent per MB Utv 1.5 cent per MB Eircom
    3.63 per MB or cut off your connection if you exceed the cap

    Q.How much does Radsl broadband cost (rounded up/down to the nearist euro)

    Basic packs
    A. Iol : €39 euro a month (Unbundled)
    Eircom Broadband Home Starter : €40 euro a month
    Utv : €30euro a month

    Self install price : utv and eircom : 99 euro Iol : 90 euro

    Advanced packs
    Iol Broadband Home Plus : €47 (Unbundled)
    Eircom Broadband Home Plus : €55
    UTV Clicksilver Plus : €45

    Self install price : utv and eircom : 99 euro Iol : 80 euro

    Q.Where can i find more info on the 3 providers broadband services ?

    Can we update this, can we move that, can we pay for this, can you kill that.. demanding bunch aren't you.

    I intended to do it months ago but never really seemed to get around to it. I'll probably start on it piece by piece over the next few days/weeks.
