Tequila - Not any more, since I tried to drink a pint of the stuff over an hour or so. Just makes me retch now.

Sambuca - Yes
Peach Schnapps - yes, with lime.
Aftershock/Jagermeister/Goldschlager - not (again) in a million years.

Southern Comfort with lots of ice...now there's a drink when you're finished having pints.

reminds me of the time i drank 7 sambucas in a row with a couple of pints of giunness when i was 14.worst hangover of my life to this day.drink nearly all pints now but on occassion "micky flynn" or "aftershock" tequila is reserved for birthday occassions only

How come you left out vodka?

I dont drink it but you left out Gin aswell (Cork died gin is one of the worst drinks i ever tasted)

Also you left out mightly Absintle
and pernod

baby guinness are the nicest of all shots - tia maria with baileys on top!!!
choc pops (or grasshoppers) are good too - pernod and baileys (i think...)

aftershock are the minginest things in the world though :mad:

B-52: dark Creme de Cacao, Baileys and Cointreau. Silent, but deadly. My Dad is a publican and invented one called Colonic Irrigation. Tastes nicer than it looks but still. Embarassing.

Pfft, wuss.
Here's the best way to do it:

1. Put sambuca in mouth and hold
2. Tilt head back as close to 90 degrees as possible
3. Open mouth
4. Light the sambuca (Keep your head titled back!!)
5. When it begins to feel moderately warm, close your mouth.
6. Keep mouth closed for at least 0.5 seconds, then swallow.

If you've done it right, your tongue will tingle and feel slightly scorched for the rest of the night.
I take no responsibility for any damage to persons doing the above. It's important to note that you don't want it to be on fire when you swallow it. Closing your mouth cuts out the oxygen, and puts out the fire. Since your mouth is a small place, and smaller with Sambuca in it, the fire should go out almost immediately, and you won't burn your lips.

Savour your alcohol. Throwing it back is a waste. Except for grappa. That has to be thrun back.

I agree with jerenaugrim. Naturally it goes without saying that anyone who makes his short of choice a proper whiskey will savour it rather than try to get drunk with it.

Squashed Frogs are the nicest shots ive ever had, not many places know how to make them though. Layered, 1 third each - Midori, Advocaat, Grenadine. Baby Guinnesses aren't bad either.

Normally i'd go for Vodka shots.
