    I think my dad is getting a mac soon for some DTP stuff.

    If it runs Q3 well, I will play on it.

    thought I was the only Irish mac quake player -- cool. Current macs run q3a very well as they have very fast native opengl but u may want to use a different graphics card (than the rage128) for better fps. I use a v3 2000 pci (made for pc) flashed with a 3000 rom and get killer fps with everything turned off. 3dfx will be shipping mac native versions of their new cards in july-august. nvidia are also shipping the geforce2 for mac as well -- should be getting a test card soon biggrin.gif
    also get urself a logitech wingman usb mouse instead of the ****ty toilet cake/hockey puck that it ships with.
