I just refreshed gamespy and noticed for once in a long while, pings to barrysworld weren't ****e!

I then performed a tracert on one of the BarrysWorld Q3 servers... this is the report I got...

since when was that good mirv? I never had any trouble pinging bw servers at 100 from modem, so I would have to say your 150-200 pings are pretty rubbish

Gah Osi,
When was the last time you've been on a modem? Then think about when was the last time you were on Surf No Limits, for most esat(ers) I'd say 140 ping is a lot better than a 1000 ping from routing to the US

Er just tried oceanfree there, gave me a direct connection to the uk, sometimes I have seen it going through amsterdam alright at peak hours but its quite rare

Actaully its going through Amsterdam today, damn it used to always go the direct way, I suppose it tries to find the route that gives the lowest ping and amsterdam does when the uk routers are busy.

My ping's still 1000 . That means that Esat's not my problem at all. Yay, I think. Maybe it's something to do with the fax-machine, 12 phones, dozens of line branches and call-record-machine on the same line . Yessss, just realised, good excuse for losing isn't it?
