Screen Resolution

I normally set my screen resolution at 800 x 600.

Recently on occasion I have changed the setting to 1024 x 768, to allow me to work more comfortably with Dreamweaver.

After changing my setting back to 800 x 600 the change does not appear to take affect on my web browser, IE6. That is, when I look at any websites in Explorer the text is very small and difficult to read. The resolution is fine for all other programmes.

I have rebooted my machine a couple of times and re-changed the setting of screen resolution but this has not solved the problem

    How can I fix this?

    Thanks.
