    Have you read some of Utility's posts? Go and read some, then come back and tell me they are someone that Boards benefits by having about. I dont think so. In the end thats really the decision point, is someone worth having at this party cos otherwise I ask them to leave.

    I actually think he gives very good advice on PI.
    So do a lot of other people.

    How does boards benefit by having 99% of posters? Is that all we are, something to help you?

    Yes, I did a search for his username and looked at the last page of posts he made, and I can't see anything offensive enough to warranty a ban....I'm presuming if there was an incident which made you think "That's IT!" it would have been in one of his last few posts..

    Sangre, all decisions eventually are subjective. I dont hide the fact that I will kick people who I dont like. For the record, I dont like rude, obnoxious, nasty, cruel and particularly uncivil people. If you wish to stay here and "subject" yourself to my hideous tyranny then you are welcome if you wish to leave the door is always open but this is unashamedly our gig and we are the bouncers. Most people seem to like and indeed appreciate our doorpolicy.

    Etho_ it was a "straw that breaks the camels back" sort of thing, this isnt my first run in with Utility_ or his first banning...

    But he doesnt really come across that way at all in most of his posts except when he's on the defensive of another milkshake etc. insult and I wont count those tongue in cheek skanger threads.

    I suspect this attitude towards him is one from drunken (usually) irc encounters/kickings/bannings etc.
    Although it was always maintained #boards.ie and www.boards.ie were seperate entitities.

    Of course its your decision to make but I dont suspect your reasons for it are from his posts.

    Ok, the last one I give you, but in fairness she was kind of creepy.

    In all the others he was insulted first, like I already said, just read the post before him or what he quoted.

    The first post was not abusive, just....a joke.

    Although why Im defending him I dont know, I guess I just can let this injustice go.

    I don't know either. I won't defend him because I tried to defend him before and the whole situation ended with me getting so pissed at him that I banned him from the site.

    As for the provocation, Skanger's abuse hasn't gone unnoticed (nor has the fact that you prompted Monty to give you a permanent ban on After Hours).

    I'm not changing the subject. I wanted the baiting of utility_ to be clamped down on, but he was responsible for the content of his own posts. All I'm saying is that such crap does get noticed even if it isn't accepted as an excuse.

    Ok, i've looked at all the links Dev posted....and I still can't see any reason to ban the guy.....there's many more dip****s far more annoying than Utility_ on here and I don't see them getting banned...
    And as for the thread re: utility_ on irc, Angelwhore shouldn't have done that in the first place.
