    except trojans pants

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,169 ✭✭✭✭Sangre

The other three were people who have not been banned both have very verbal and inflammatory opinions which they have no problem expressing.
Sinecure, whats the point of reading the charter if half the time its not followed or certain people are given more leeway?

Also Ronaldo7 is a pathetic troll wannbe who has decided to become an abusive twat ever since he was flamed to pieces on child porn thread. His young impressionable mind went, oh these people are bullying me, that must be the hip, cool thing to do.
    *whiney voice*
    He keeps copying me!
    *whiney voice*

And his posho wannabeness is the worst

I'd like to be the first to suggest a new forum entitled "Trojans Pants". I'm a big fan of Trojans Pants and I think there's a big enough fanbase out there to make this forum the success it has to be.

Now some might say that there are other forums out there were Trojans Pants could be discussed but I know I'd feel more comfortable about having our own Trojans Pants forum. DeVore may not want to discuss his pants but this is a democracy after all and I have unlimited freedom of speech.

I will reply to this thread in exactly half an hour to enquire why the Admins haven't replied to this outstanding Suggestion.

Thank you and please show your support.

[Insert phrase about having 2 cents here]

Holy schmoly just thread over Ronaldo7's latest posts.
It seems he's trying to boost his ego by insulting people, bravo. Ban him now.

Here is an example of stupidness:
I got banned for flaming Ronaldo7

Either dont ban me or ban us both fs.

That's exactly where such a forum will come in handy, to educate the misinformed.

    They're more, great, than big...

Trojan gets his pants specially made. They're not given a size, just 'grand'. They have openings in the front and the back and after a drunken night out it has been discovered that he carries a few small new potatoes in his trousers for some odd reason. Probably because he's always hungry.

I've heard rumours that if people do get him to remove his trousers that you find out exactly why he is called 'Trojan'.

I do not support this new forum since they have enough support already through various pairs of braces and corsets and things.

Potatoes front or back? Actually, don't answer that question.

Sangre, all decisions eventually are subjective. I dont hide the fact that I will kick people who I dont like. For the record, I dont like rude, obnoxious, nasty, cruel and particularly uncivil people. If you wish to stay here and "subject" yourself to my hideous tyranny then you are welcome if you wish to leave the door is always open but this is unashamedly our gig and we are the bouncers. Most people seem to like and indeed appreciate our doorpolicy.

Etho_ it was a "straw that breaks the camels back" sort of thing, this isnt my first run in with Utility_ or his first banning...

    DeV.
I have been wondering why you actually started this thread. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to antagonise you, I genuinely have given it some thought, and I haven't been able to decide what the obvious answer must be.

This has been, roughly, my thought process on it so far:
You simply posted to inform anyone who cared to read it that you had banned him.
But then I thought - why would you not just post and immediately lock the thread if it was simply for a statement of fact, as surely no replies would be necessary.

I also thought that anyone who cared would notice from his tagline that he had been banned, so maybe posting that you had banned him was unnecessary. I thought about this, and figured that maybe you were preempting anyone who did notice and decided to start a thread questioning it.

I also wondered why you did not post in whichever thread you felt he had placed his final straw to say that you had banned him, but again I figured that if there were to be any comments on this, you had started this thread as the place for them. Also, as you say later, it was more of an overall opinion you have of him that he is unkind/uncivil/whatever and that perhaps if you had posted that you had banned him in any one thread you may have felt that it would seem unjustifiable, taken in isolation.

So then that lead me to believe that you did indeed expect responses to your announcement that you had banned him.

I wondered whether you wanted responses in order for you to gauge whether you had made a good decision or not. I wondered whether you would assume that you had if you got enough replies lauding you on your decision or if you would figure you must have made an error in judgement if you got enough replies to the contrary.

I have a distinct feeling though that you never posted that you had banned him in order to give the impression that the matter was open for debate (or that the decision was subject to reversal).

So I am just genuinely curious to know why you posted in the frist place.

Little shits... come over here and say that!

My horse is a draught horse (mainly Guinness).

Oh dear, another wannabe intellectual tirade. Maybe Tom doesn't rank utilitys status as highly on his list of "things to think about".

    Does it really matter?

utility was a twat. utility got banned. Who gives a damn? Now lets talk about something else, like sex or why I'm not getting any.

Utility just happens to be franker/ruder because, well he's about 18.
I'd have to agree with Sangre here.

I didn't particularily like Utility but it's refreshing to have people on boards who don't feel the need to couch their opinions in banal platitudes. I rarely agreed with him but at least he was being completely honest in what he was saying or at least never felt the need to tone himself down for "polite society".

I know a line has to be drawn between allowing posters to express themselves honestly and useless abuse (not all abuse is useless) or spammy nonsense. I just didn't see that line being crossed by Utility. At least not to the tune of a perm ban.

On the subject of uselessness could somebody gag ColinM? He annoys my pants, which unlike Trojan's pants are of a newly surly disposition after just being burned by my cigarette.

If only as a self-esteem booster? Poor 'aul pants.

    Hahaha

Trojan, seriously shut the fúck up or answer his points.
From the last couple of posts you and others (including myself) are the twats. I really hate this 'omg he disagrees with the admin, hes fighting the power, lets dismiss all his points with some moronic comment'
    Well done.

Utility wasnt a twat, just someone who was in your face attitude didnt rub you the right way.

How can mods and other posters spew this nonsensical OT cráp and then moan that Utility is uncivil?
Or will this post be dismissed as another 'fight the power'?
I honestly dont know what on boards.ie utility did to piss off Devore, I think the guy has been given a bad name since the milkshake thread, anything broaderline has been blown out of proportion.
I really like to know you opinion, because I geniunely respect your opinion unlike some of the others who's sole opinion is, if he is banned he is a muppet.

Now lets all shut up if we have nothing to say.

Trojan, please stop with the using of real names all the time, its rather confusing for those of us who dont know them

Well thats my opinion anyway, not sure how other ppl think

    Raph

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,413 ✭✭✭✭Trojan

Tom is Devore, and it was pretty obvious from that post too.

    --

Sangre, I'm not going quote and answer all of your points, I'll just summarise this for your easy digestion.

    - people who were overly abusive got banned
    - people came on here and defended them
    - other people (the "Hugz" group according to your chum oeNeo) disagreed with the defense of blatant unpleasant behaviour and said so
    - the defenders of the people (yeah I mean you and these others) slag off the "Hugz" group and say that it's all abuse of power, free our people.

Cue broken record of "we don't tolerate behaviour like that" replied to with "it's unfair, fight the power, free our people, xyz".

    - I wish that everyone would stfu on this topic because it's tired and old.Now lets get on with boards again.

    Where's my horse?
    Al.

What I want to know is whether Trojans pants will be public or private, and if it is private, do I have automatic access to Trojans pants (and anything that might be inside them)?

I confess a great curiousity with this development. I like your theories and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
