    just heard today there's a special student 'speed dating' night for all the lonely hearts in 3rd level, in the alexander hotel dublin on the 13th of feb.
    so if your looking for a date for the 14th.... might be worth a try.

    you might meet your future spouse. how romantic.

    I used to sell ChatFest tickets (I'm pretty sure that's the event that's on. Seen posters in DCU about it) and I half know the guys that run it. It's usually a really good night but it used to be for older people then I suggested doing it in universities and I guess he took me up on it *shrug*

    I know I'm not going :-)
    Selling those tickets just pissed me off too much to enjoy it now.

    Who needs speed dating? Just take a trip on the Sligo-Dublin train, 'walk' up to the buffet car for a cup of 'coffee' and I can guarantee that you and/or your coffee will be sitting on a complete stranger's lap in no time! :D
