Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless internet from laptop

    Just wondering what my options are for getting wireless internet access from my laptop? I am moving into accomodation with no telephone line.

    I do have a mobile phone, and I have a free pcmcia slot. I understand I can make calls via the mobile. I also saw an add on TV for a vodafone pcmcia card?

    I imagine the mobile option wouldnt be expensive for a quick mail check (if I can get 56K), but thats all I know.

    Anyway, I just want to check mail (newsgroups) and do a quick surf or two everyday. Can anyone tell me what my options are?
