Does anyone know if the tuner and all it's functionality is purely in the remote? Also, I know the remotes from that model won't fit into previous models' jacks (i.e. the NetMDs, which is what I have), but are there any remotes available which would?

I use my MD all the time, but I'd love to have a radio for the awful awful commute into the city each day Problem is, I don't fancy carrying around 2 chunks of hardware.

Anyone have any suggestions?
