Man i'm going made again,

when i try to access yahoo mail , i redirected to a site called http://popnav.com/

I have run Ad-aware 6, and a Hijack scan. also Virus scan with McAfee

and the thing wont go..... also i'm getting pop up on my desktop ,,, i'm not even on a site.


whats going on?

I got one that hijacked all URLs which I hadnt started with [url]http://[/url] in IE. If I tried to run ad-aware or norton anti-virus scans they wud die after about 4 or 5 seconds.

Close all intances of IE (I'm assuming that's what your running) and make sure there aren't any rogue processes running....the on I had was actually called iexplore.exe so I missed it the first time I looked. It was picking up anything I tried to use aginst it.scanners....even tryin to download certain zip files it killed them.Neither ad-Aware nor Spybot picked up the infection once I managed to get them running.

That saved me. picked up 61 hijack attempts that the other 3 programs missed (norton, adawre and spybot).

Dude, thanks to phaxx, that was me 10 minutes later Altho I have to admit i still use IE most of the time It had me bashing my PC for the guts of 4 hours

and i deleted what i thought was bad,

But i dont know what most of it is.

well perhaps for u big nasty BB users u can use anything but for the old dail up'ers (is that a new word ) its the best ... so fookin fast

Have you tried googling for that URL it's sending you to? I did.
