Deanna Troi is so annoying. She doesn't even use her abilities when they're needed. Remember that episode when the Enterprise was crippled, it was just Troi, O'Brien and Ro Laren on the bridge? "I wonder if there's anyone alive in the drive section". For god's sake Troi just use your empathic sense to tell!

thats a lot of hate DMT , feel the need to discuss some of your mentionings. rom and weyoun both of who i thought where good characters, rom showed his strength in his own way and weyoun was just weyoun i think jeffrey combs was great in that part and i always enjoyed the episodes with him in it.

I thought Sybok was decent enough and i did like the founder. She acted well in the final parts of the dominion war.

yes the seige of ar-559 or whatever was a very strong episode and good for nog apart from the general leg thing. its quite amazing the change you see in them from season 1 to season 7 imagine saying to nog in season 1 six years later you leg is going to be blown off, he devloped quite well i think into a strong character also, his episode when he goes to live in the casino with vic was good also

The DS9 recurring characters hate seems strong here. I thought any part that Jeffrey Combs played was always done well. Brunt/Weyoun had alot more depth than most recurring characters in most shows.

I know it's probably sacriligious considering who the actress actually is, but Lwaxana Troi. can't watch her on screen as that character at all. also Dr. Crusher and her demon spawn son too, although I kinda feel sorry for him sometimes, as they never gave him a chance of being liked.

but strangely enough one of my favourite characters is Dr. Flox, but more specifically John Billingsley, that plays him. Maybe cos of the cameo in Stargate, but I just like the characters he plays. Did anyone catch him as Denzel Washington's mate (again,a Dr, well pathologist) in 'Out Of Time'? another good character for him. he just seems like a really amicable guy.

Hrm, to be honest i don't think there are any characters i really hate. I think they all have their own unique qualities that they bring to each character. One thing i hate about the characters in trek tho is the way they seriously reuse the same actors over, and over, and over again. I mean i have expect one of the guys from DS9 to turn around to weyun and say... 'hey.... you seriously look familiar to me. Were you a human a few weeks ago?'

Alot of characters were necessary such as kai winn she was seriously hated woman but you need s**t Stirers
for just bad a character i'd go for Diana Troy

My list:

Wesley Crusher - maybe he wouldn't be so bad if he didn't have cráp hair and clothes though - the fact that he's precocious dosen't annoy me all That much.

Deanna Troy - way too touchy feely, all those touchy feely characters they have annoy me in fact.

Neelix - he's quite annoying most of the time even though this is made up for by the fact that he can show signs of intelligence at times.

Riker, Paras etc when they do their "I'm a babe magnet" macho act.

Lwaxana Troy - deserves slow torture.

Yeah, the fact that she inexplicably had a low cut uniform unlike anybody else on the ship annoyed me as well.

That technology would only be good if they did it with Data! (haha)

I dunno, but for some reason i really hate Tasha Yar. I wasnt ever really too fond of Kes for some reason either.

Btw, someone earlier mentioned how the episode where chakotay thought he was a boxer was crap. i agree, worst episode ever!

I don't remember too much from it, just that (obviously) the discussions were based on the fact that these were three very weak characters.
