It hasn't been confirmed yet but it looks very likely. A very excellent Rage against the machine tribute band will probably be playing in the ambassador, Dublin sometime late July/early August. tickets will be 10-15 euro and available from ticketmaster shortly after the gig is confirmed. support comes from dundalk bands - the Realm, Leeway and the absents.
    Anyone planning on going?

Thats a looong way off to be thinking about a tribute band.

Still, I'll keep a look out for it.

Dunno about the RATM but the Dundalk bands are most excellent. Especially Leeway and The Realm.

So true. Heard something about this gig from the absents forum. Is there a bus being organised for it?

    Leeway's EP is pretty cool.
Realm were pretty good the few times I've heard 'em.

As long as Leeway's guitarist can get his sh1t sorted out, it should be a good gig.

I might go. I'm not climbing in some dodgy bus with the rest of you though!

    mr_angry travels in style...

LoL!! Like u play cs in style? :P

Touche. Mr Angry travels by donkey!!! Should be a good gig.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,312 ✭✭✭mr_angry

I feel I was above donkey level in CS. Not quite BMW 5 series, but maybe... VW Golf? Reliable enough, without being overly stylish...

Anyway, chances are I'll go with Thomas in the mighty red Jetta. Better than a stinking bus full of undergraduates though.

I bag shotgun! Should be a good gig, whenever it arrives.

I have CD's by both Leeway and Realm, but I bought them about 10 years ago. I trust these aren't the same Realm and Leeway??

lol, methinks someone's gonna get sued with band names :) I imagine at least Leeway isn't the same bunch! They would have been about 11 or 12!

Bulls on parade are based in dundalk and have been together for about a year. We've played plenty of times in the north east to highly responsive crowds.
Our set covers the whole range of ratm's four albums (Bullet in the head, know your enemy, bombtrack, killing in the name, sleep now in the fire, guerrila radio, revolver, maggies farm, etc). This will be our first headlining gig in Dublin.

Also the support bands are very excellent.

In order to go to the gig, we'd need information about the gig....

When's the Leeway forum gonna be back up?
