Peter Lieman is a really nice wine along with Hardy's or Jacob's. They're all Australian i'm sure. Another one i used to love but haven't seen it in ages is Peter Lieberman. Im not sure if Peter Lieman is the new lieberman, and yes i can see the similarities in the names.

M&S had a nice Gamay a while ago. amay out of season now though of course. Tesco had a decentish Shiraz reserve a while ago, think it's still there. The screw-top version was glack though.

Lidl Kookaburra Shiraz but not sure if they still have it.

If you go to the Alicante region, Penascal Rosado....about 2.70 euro....fantastic value

    Rosemount Shiraz

I was skint last week and apprehensively bought a 1.5 litre bottle of French table wine from the Tescos in the Jervis centre (Dub). It was just 7 euro and it was really quite nice. Fresh, dry and with appley undertones.

    Bargain!

    Anything Chilean.

    In particular:

    Santa Rita Chardonnay
    Carmen Reserva

    Red & White.

    Other than that:

    Wolf Blass
