Boards now banned in college?

(posting this from home)

Tried to log into boards this morning from the LRC, but all I got was 403 forbidden messages from squid. Anyone know if this is permanent or what?

Ya should have come to IRC ;p
...afaik is just DNS problem [they removed boards from DNS resolution?]

Anyway, entering IP seems to work without problems

If worse comes to worst, can use CGI::Proxy [works for any non-ssl site, can be gotten to work for SSL - lotta effort though heh]

I used CGI::Proxy during summer at work for boards, and anything else.

I think this is just an admin screw up

why don't you just ping boards.ie and copy the IP address you get into the address bar like I'm doin'?

Doing that myself, too much effort.

Pity they wouldnt fix the ****in problem
