how do some referees get their position? Im just back from playing an Under-20 match where the ref was possibly the worst i have ever seen. missing knock ons , not even carding a head-butting incident right in front of his nose and countless other illegal actions going unnoticed, even allowing a quick tap pen after giving ten yards. Was i infuriated? Did i call him a wanker? Indeedily....

The enjoyment i got from the match was severly hampered not because we lost but because of the ref blatently riding us!
I believe the standard of refereeing has taken a nose dive. whats your perspective on this? has the standard gone down? what can we do to right this problem?

We lost the match 6-12 by the by...all pens. Not the most exciting match. Anyways Come on Munster
