Dirk Benedict coming to UCD?

    Hello all

    Is Dirk Benedict (AKA Face from the A team) still coming to UCD?

    I heard way back in Sept that he was meant to be coming on Feb 3 to host a debate or something on Feb 3rd but I've seen nothing else about it. Does anyone know if this is still going ahead? Its just that a mate of mine is going to take a day of work especially for it.

    He was here last year. I heard the same thing about this year. It's not the first time UCD societies have lost their imagination - they got F.W. de Clerck *again* this year.

    yeah i think it may have been a bit of imaginative (Nay completely fictional) advertising by the societies. Yeah he was here last year and he was meant to be coming again this year (Both for 80s day, which as you say was SO last year heh heh), but its one of those things that just disapears into the ether; neither his ( D. Benedict) nor any of the societies websites mention a word about it.
