Internet Explorer Problem

    Hi Folks,

    Everytime I launch internet explorer, I get the following message:

    Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.
    We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    Help !!

    If you're windows xp then paste this code into START/RUN to repair internet explorer:

    rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\Inf\ie.inf


    Otherwise check add/remove programs and see if internet explorer is in the list. click add/remove beside it and see if there is a repair option. select it and it might solve the problem. Alternatively reinstall it or download IE 6.1 from www.microsoft.com

    If its IE 6, make sure its IE 6 SP1 as the unservice packed version of IE 6 is soooooo
    buggy and crap

    Browser advocacy crap moved here. The user is looking for support for IE, not a sermon on the alternatives.
