Phone not charging

Anyone any ideas why a Nokia 7210 displays "not charging" when plugged in? The battery is fine (tried it with another one) The charger works with another phone. The charging socket seems ok, making good contact with the board. Any help appreciated, thanks.

I've seen certain chargers doing that on Nokia phones (a USB one, for starters - it worked on an old Nokia phone I had, but not on a newer model). Try another charger if you can find one......

Its probably one of the old Nokia chargers.....the square blocky type. You need a new type charger. They are a lot slimmer and lighter

Been trying a new charger and a car charger, no luck.
Suppose it could be the charging circuit?:dunno:
