...hey, yeah im using the above for my math project. Just some quick questions: Is there an acknowledegments command? or maybe someway i can do a 2nd abstract and name it acknowledgements? How do is shorten page margins?(I want to move the body of text about 1cm to the right)

It's ages since I did any LaTeX but the "Not So Short Guide To Latex" should cover what you want.

Just search for it in google and you should get loads of hits.
