Prob exporting msg's in my inbox

Running Xp pro with outlook express and what to save msg's in my inbox so I can format my H/D.But when I go to export them it only gives me the option to expport to MS Outlook or Ms Exchange.I have neither of these and would idealy like to save them to another part of my H/D or to cd,can anyone tell me a work around or a…

1) make sure your computer is set up to view hidden files and folders

2) open OE.

3) right-click your inbox, select properties

4) on the properties page, copy the location of the file

5) browse to that folder

6) save the .dbx file(s)

When you reinstall OE you do the same except copy in your old files over the new ones
