Time to close the thread - what we've got here is a bike that's so awesome, so incredibly cool in its (presumably) fixed-ness that not only is it not safe (or even possible) to photograph the whole thing in one frame but capturing as little as the front triangle, chainset or even the shadow of its pedals causes degradation at the edges of the images!!

    My 1st road bike.

    PB250082.jpg

Extras I added myself include mud guards front and rear. Front & rear reflectors. Front & rear LED's. Telescopic fold away pump.

Main locking chain weighs about twice as much as the bike. :pac: The mother wont let me keep it in the house so I'll be buying an anchor and cover tomorrow.

Just make sure you remember to feed her. You don't want the guards round.

My two year old kids have that Dora Backpack in the background.

So taken are they with the backpack, the shout Backpack Backpack when Dora appears on the TV.

@Mozoltov! Remind your mother that what goes around comes around and if the precedent is set for things not being around the house when they have no apparent practical use, that you won't be feeling too guilty about packing her off to a nursing home in years to come......:)

Nice bike, though, good luck with it.

Had already put up the pics in my thread asking advice on which bike to choose but thought I should share it here aswell. Maybe not everyones idea of a beauty :p but I love her! Have only got out for one proper spin yet but must say I like the Sram double tap found it quite instinctive to use. Can't get over how light she is 7.4kg with pedals! Wasn't sure about the white hoods at first (will be few weeks before dealer has black hoods) but they're growing on me

Well here is the finished product...
Pinarello FP1 frame with Vuelta Superlite wheels on Vittoria Diamante tyres.
Ultegra 6600 groupset and MOST (Pinarello) bars, stem and seatpost.
Just need to add pedals, adjust the saddle and she should be good to go!:)
In the absence of Mr Skeff, I brought everything to www.doctorbike.ie for assembly (Highly recommended, nice guy & very thorough)
Very happy with how it's turned out, can't wait for the maiden voyage.
What's the weather like tomorrow? :(
