Ooh I like the look of that. The seatpost must be right at its limit?

Actually, it can go up a bit more.

Ultegra shifters and derailleurs, oval concepts chain set and brake calipers.

The new bars are lovely, haven't used them much yet but the initial feeling is good.

She's finished for now. Hong-Fu carbon bars are the last upgrade I'll be doing for a while. Definately an image of beauty to me:

She does need either an Ultegra or some form of carbon chainset to really finish her off. The cash well is dry though.

    What are the wheels?

Been waiting for a long time for it, assembled it last night

How do you find that Dettol spray? They say it kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses :D

We only just bought it, give me a break! X3s need to be at least 9 years old before I can afford them.

Beautiful, hoping to have mine tomorrow. Looks like their finally starting to get deliveries out. Quick question, did you need any carbon assembly paste for fitting the seatpost and did Canyon supply a sachet or anything, just ondering if I need to pick up any before mine arrives.

Have you been out on it yet?

They actually sent me the wrong manual, I received the MTB manual.
Looking at their website they state apply Canyon paste to the seat tube. I have since emailed them asking for them to post me out this paste (I assume it would be included in the roadbike manual).

I took it for a short 10km spin last night. Was a bit nervous on it.
It spins up nicely and is a fast bike. Looking forwarded in getting more miles on it.
What model did you go for?

Interesting. I might pick up a tube of the stuff before tomorrow just incase.

I went for the 8.0 version with the new Dura Ace. Mulled over Ultegra Di2 but the reviews for the new DA were all raving about it and I figured the Di2 is going to be updated soon enough so didn't want to dive straight into electronic just yet.

    Lovely bike!

If the shot above is of the front, are the brake pads installed back to front? I.E. Because of the wheel rotation direction, I'd guess the open end should be at the back?

Feel free to tell me I'm wrong !

Bought this Cannondale Caad8 today to replace my old Tornado racer, didn't have a chance to take it for a proper spin yet, but will tomorrow hopefully. Any of you guys ever ridden one of these?

They are, well spotted. I'll fix them later. (that's a lie, I won't. Too lazy)

Fix them. Mine were installed the wrong way around (not by me). Half way down a decent in Spain I stopped and one of the pads was half way out. I know some Shimano have a screw to keep them in but better off putting them the correct way. Mine were Campag and have no screw.

Because Campag are for real men who don't need their little safety screws, ha! :pac:

Fixed! Technically I got paid to do it too.
