My 'New' second hand 2012 Felt F95 for the Winter. After hunting around for a couple of months I managed to pick this up for little money. It means I can now save the good bike for the good weather. Funky Microshift shifters were a pain to adjust but they appear decent enough. Got a lot of gear with it - and just as well because my Cruds didn't fit so the previous owner's guards came in handy!

Ha! Yeah, the rear is not the best. Surprised I couldn't get the Cruds on board. You could chance a 23mm on the rear but it would start to wear through the plastic Crud as it did on the Canyon last Winter - and that frame had greater clearance. I'll bodge something better later on.

thats like wearing "interesting socks/colourful tie" with a well tailored suit. you just dont bling out a classic to that extent.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,612 ✭✭✭happytramp

If the frame and finishing kit were black it would look pretty good.

The mix of red and orange frustrates me. They should have made the detailing all the same colour.

Also the front brake cable being that taut annoys me too. Needs more slack.

It's the minor details that make a bike really great.

agreed on the cable, but the orange / red mix detailing is what makes the bike. long time since ive thought of specialized as nice, but that is sweet

I don't think the owner of the T1 would be happy to see the company you've included it in?

I've the same bike for commuting/winter training and i managed to get cruds on it, did have to cut a bit out of the back one because the gap between the front mech and wheel is too small but they work grand and keep me nice and dry. Did take over an hour of messing about to get them right though !

It's the images of beauty thread, not the users fleet thread. I ride fixed myself, no problem with single speeds.

No, it's a nice bike. The fixie-bomb that followed was an example of fashionable off-the-shelf style accessories, rather than actual bikes. Yours was comfortably better than all of them, with the exception of the Cervelo (which even looks great with the basic rear wheel).

But as Tyrell said, there's this thread, which began as "Look how beautiful my bike is" and has become "Look how beautiful *someones* bike is", and there's a 'Users Fleets' threads, which is purely about what Bordsies own, with no comments or discussion.

But I'd leave your here, even if you do post it there.
