I like the Noah, but that paint job is not working for me at all.

The Condor Classico: Would of got top marks if it didn't sound like a caffeinated beverage. Or maybe thats not so bad..

Agreed, but the noah is fairly gack with that paint

The retro paint job on the Noah does nothing for me either.

Darkglasses' taste in bicycle paint jobs is bad.... and he should feel bad.

Her shoes won't last very long like that. Could you imagine taking a tumble from that height?

The brazen hussy, throwin' her leg over like that.

That's why it was called "coming a cropper" - [male] cyclists tended to wear their hair cropped short, they being the cutting-edge athletes of the time, and if they hit a big stone they'd revolve around the wheel and land - *bonk* - on their head. Probably the origin of The Bonk too, come to think of it.

I find these racers' cycling gear eminently practical and attractive. And the hats are still in fashion.

Edit: the throwing-leg-over was preliminary to dismounting, as far as I remember.

    The boys:

    copy-1-108-2201.jpg

Surprisingly modern with their clingy sateen T-shirts and tight shorts; the shoes a bit less so, and of course Marsh bend handlebars and fixies, and the fellow running third has a kind of cross between an Ordinary and a safety bicycle.

^ Seat stays look like they were attached as an afterthought.

That, and the general jagged clunkiness of aero frames.

    That ribble looks rank!

On the other hand, I am loving the new Trek Emonda!

Funny the way handlebars are so samey now. I'm still nostalgic for those Marsh bend ones; very pleasant grip/s.

Looks like a bad rip off of the 4 year old Ribble/De Rosa frame.

The Trek is pretty, but it is still a Trek. That is a problem.
