this house proposes the motion that bikes look better with smaller frames.

    Then your house is incorrect.

I don't mean super big frames. All bikes look best in their M/L sizing. Anything Between 54 and 58cm, frame dependent.

that *does* seem to be a tiny frame on that colnago. one size up would be the sweet spot, i suspect.

Probably not to everyone's taste but my son appeared with this today not having been on a bike in almost 20 years. It's a Schindelhauer city bike with a belt drive and a fairly well concealed electric motor in the rear hub. Lots of other nice details too. Hope to go out for a spin with him next week, something I'd almost given up on ever happening again :D

Don't go too hard on him Mercian, hold back he'll only get disillusioned :)

New wheels for my long time cinq á sept. :) Cassette installation pending freehub swop.

A relic of the past now really with only 10 speeds and rim brakes so it barely functions as a bicycle in the real world and it's missing that extra 3kg of aero-solidity of the modern superbike. :pac:

    Looks nice though :)

    Jesus...what a relic.

    €750.

Durian Rider may not be a fan of the latest S-Worse (heaviest S-Works in history etc) but....

yeah, wow. That looks fabulous. I'd 'ave that. :)

Had to look him up, skimmed his latest video on youtube and back away rapidly.

the one thing which looks wrong on those bikes is the little slivers of saddles sitting on those aero seatposts.

    Not really ..
“ todays” bikes are almost all aero ..very few slim tubes
    Integrated posts and stems ..
    Disc ..
    Minimum 11 speed
    Probably electronic shifting ..

Anyway just my view - and I prefer them like this one .

I had never seen him, nor heard of him. Made the mistake of looking him up. Thanks for that, I suppose

At least the YouTube recommendations for his videos will dilute the Cycling Mikey video suggestions a bit...

New frameset arrived yesterday, think it deserves to go into this thread.

With the Bora One 50's I picked up earlier in the year on it.

Just waiting now for Shimano to sort out their groupset production and it will be on the road.

    That's goddamn gorgeous.

Colour is amazing on that, so much better than the usual black or darker ones I've seen around. Not that I've seen that many in the wild mind.

Lovely frame Joey100 - best of luck with it... it’s calling out for campagnolo record to match the wheels though!
