    I'm looking to get one of these - ie the thing which you can use to trickle charge your car battery, but also can be used to Jump start your car because it has its own internal battery (more or less a car battery itself).

    The only place I've seen one in Dublin is Argos - p 103 of the new catalogue JCB Brand costs 78 euro

    Does anyone know of better prices - I'm (hopefully) not going to be using it too often so don't really need a top of the line model. I've found that Clarke make a cheaper one available in the UK (about 60 euro with the exchange rate but postage from the UK would be a killer!) but haven't found it here yet

    They were selling them in lidl on the specials for €29.99 a while ago iirc - looks like an item that will be back. Check the website on lidl.ie for current and upcoming specials :)
