Yes I have used the 4x writer that is relatively cheap at the moment and it has given no problems what so ever. LiteOn drives seem to be very reliable, decently priced and do exactly what they say on the tin. Thye arent as quiet as some other drives though. So in short if you want a decent reliable drive without breaking the bank then go for one. They also have an 8x out now that is under the 180 mark afaik.
