    CORK CAMPUS RADIO 97.4 FM ANNOUNCES A NEW SERIES
    for Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals


    Cork Campus Radio 97.4 FM presents a new innovative student approach to gay issues!

    Pink Parade deals with all aspects of gay life, from the community point of view in Cork to a more national and global level. This show takes a new direction in the ongoing quest for gay visibility in Ireland and will feature interviews with people at the forefront of the gay community. It promises to take a well-balanced and honest approach to all issues as well as including many more lighthearted aspects.

    Presented by Allan O’Sullivan and [Snip.], this show will have regular features such as Karaoke Queen will cast a wry eye on some of the classic tunes associated with the gay scene. Rainbow Classics will cover all aspects of gay interest in the media such as show biz, pop culture and television. Pink Forum is a space in which all issues can be discussed. These issues will range form the social and political to the health and personal. We will also feature sage advice from our agony aunt Aunty Allan.

    As well as these regular features it will also provide up-to-date, finger-on-the-pulse reports on the happenings and events in the gay community. Pink Parade is an interactive show and welcomes input from all listeners. It is aimed at those in the community who are out and those who are not. This series will provide a platform of expression for those who do not have a voice, and to entertain and inform its audience.
