Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Help on getting married in italy

Dunno if this is the right place for this but...A friend of mine is getting married in Italy. Does anyone know if she has to have a civil ceremony prior to the church ceremony or what? She's been told by one person that she only has to register her intent to marry at the town hall when she arrives in the country, but…

She's been told by one person that she only has to register her intent to marry at the town hall when she arrives in the country, but another said she may have to have a civil ceremony as well as the religious ceremony. Any info appreciated.

I am getting married in Rome this year.

You only need to have one wedding. All the arrangements are made thru your local catholic priest and forwared to rome church - wedding is legal in Rome because people have been doing in for years.
