got me a dell 5150 and it tells me i can only change the dvd region code 5 times... whats this all about and is there a away around it

check what make, model etc. it is in the device manager. then go to www.rpc1.org and seach for that same drive. they have just about any type of drive covered with a firmware patch that will fix that nasty illegal(probably) region code issue. then download a program called dvd genie to change the region settings on your player.
after all that you have a nice new multi region portable dvd player.
