another domain name problem

    Hey,

    i'm interested in buying a domain, that expired on the 20th of december last. It is STILL listed as unavailable by all registrars. Is there anyway i can force the last registrar to release it so i can have it.

    I know the problem is the current ability to hold a domain for a certain amount of time so that someone can reregister it, but it's been almost 2 months now.

    Any ideas?

    The domain goes to a renewal period for 30 after it expires, then into a redemption period of 40 days (last chance), where it has to be renewed manually. After the 70 days it’s back on the market.

    It should be available soon.
