Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looks like Saha is settling in fairly well.

One thing you can say is that out of the thread that said Who got the best buy? it has certainly been Saha so far.

    Early days yet tho..

shows the character of the team - most teams would fold after having a 3-0 lead clawed back.

also says something about their defence

screw the character of utd, how about everton!
Sounds like it should have been 4-4 but Rooney missed a great chance in injury time.

Brilliant from Everton but it hurts

Jesus i was watching it on sky sports, not the game the lads talking about it and i was having a heart attack, great day of footy today and i dunno how we keep on winning like this against southamtpon and now everton but 3 points is 3 points ! and im delighted for saha and ruddy getting 2 each, seems like ronaldo played well when he came on in the last 10

big question marks over utds defence latley and with champs league football coming up it looks like there will be no european trophy for fergie this year unless they find a good CB somehwhere in utd

Heh the Sky Sports Soccer Saturday lads messed up earlier actually and when Spurs went 4-3 ahead it came up Everton 4 - 3 Man Utd :) Was funny for a sec :D

Wouldn't be too concerned about Utds defence just yet. Brown has been poor of late but is only back from a very serious injury. Neville has been known to play at centre back so thats an option if they're stuck. O'Shea would be an option too and if they're in trouble theres always the option of calling Keane back.

With Saha and Van Nistelrooy up front that'll leave Scholes and one of P. Neville/Butt/Kleberson fighting for the other centre midfield role if Keane was go back and I think all 3 would do a decent job tbh.

Would Keane be able to play Full Back position? Is he needed more in midfield?

    This defense scares me :/

Good Question. If Utd continue to leak goals as they have done recently Fergie may have to consider moving him back . Nicky Butt is still there thankfully to take Keane's midfield role if necessary but pornapster made a very good point in the other thread about Brown needing a bit more time to get back to match fitness and hopefully fergie will sort out the defence in training and be able to leave keano where he is.

I've been on of Wesleys harshest critics so far but I don't think he was too bad yesterday. Nor do I think any one individually can be blamed but as a whole the defence are a little unorganised and that's what Rio did so well. Even when he wasn't playing well himself he was organising the defence and now we have the proof. I think if you stuck Keano back there he would bring the same sort of organistation as Rio and with all the defensive midfielders utd it is an easy switch.

I agree the Wesley needs some time but playing him for 90 minutes at a time is not the way to go about it.
