Radeon 9800 Pro with CTX monitors issue?

Hi guys,i recently bought a Power Color Radeon 9800 Pro. Awesome performer but one slight problem. The onscreen colours seem very dull and washed out . Ive tried everything,im using the latest 4.1 drivers but its the same with any drivers. Im now wondering if its an issue with the Radeon combined with my CTX VL 700…

A mate has the same monitor and a Radeon 9600 XT and its the very same issue.
My old GF4 TI 4200 displayed nice bright vibrant colours on this monitor.
Anyone else have a CTX monitor and Radeon??
As i said ive tried al colour settings in the ATI control panelbut only brightness and gamma seems to change the colour tone stays the same always,surely this cant be right?

well i can tell you i have the same radeon and its fine on my monitor so perhaps its not the card, but as you suggest a combination of both
